About
Synthetic Technology
Computational logic synthesised with human experience: architecting interactive worlds with AI.
I grew up on cassette-tape games and ended up building for the web. Waiting for a game to load off tape taught me a whole lot about how a game is made. Now I think the next shift in personal computing is here: AI as the collaborator, design as the compass, and simulations that think.
I'm Efe Anidi, a software developer in London. My work sits where code, media and intelligence meet, and for the last few years that has meant building with AI rather than just writing about it.
This site is my notebook on AI game design: how text-based generative games work today, where generative audio and video are taking interactive film, and how classical mechanics and game loops still hold it all together. It is theory-led, because the ideas outlast the tools.
The games themselves live at Senrama.com. A books section is on the way.
